KGF Chapter 3 confirmed with new video as KGF 2 clocks one year; Hombale Films hint at storyline; watch

Rocking Star Yash emerged as a global star with the glorious box office success of KGF Chapter 2. While movie lovers are yet to get over the hangover of the epic journey in the sequel, the makers on Friday confirmed KGF Chapter 3 as KGF 2 completes one rocking year of its theatrical release.

The post-credit sequence of KGF Chapter 2 teased KGF Chapter 3. Since then, anticipation among KGF lovers skyrocketed. Though several theories surfaced regarding the storyline of the third installment, there was no official confirmation from the makers.

However, as a part of celebrating the completion of one glorious year of KGF 2’s theatrical release, the makers teased the probable storyline.

The makers dropped a video giving a glance at KGF Chapter 2's journey, Rocky Bhai and his quest to becoming the ruler of KGF.

Meanwhile, in the video, the makers dropped a hint that KGF Chapter 3 will seemingly show Rocky’s life from 1978 to 1981 which was omitted in the second installment.

A text in the video reads: Where was Rocky from 1978 to 1981? Later, the makers also promised an epic journey in KGF 3 with high-octane action sequences. 

Another text in the video reads: Mother of all collisions is yet to be witnessed.

From this message, it can be expected that Rocky may rise from the waters and the audience will witness a thrilling journey and violent collision in KGF Chapter 3.

While curiosity remains high among fans for KGF Chapter 3, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon recently spilled beans about the third part of the KGF franchise.

Recently during an interview with India Today, Ramika Sen aka Raveena was quoted as saying, "Well, (I am) keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a KGF 3 and we will be working on it very soon.” 

Further, sharing her experience of working in KGF 2, the Mast Mast Girl said, “KGF 2 was a wonderful experience. I had fun working with these youngsters and, especially Prashanth, as a director, was so focused. He knew exactly what he wanted and what he was doing. So, it was just an amazing experience working with them."

After the humongous success of KGF 2, now all eyes are on KGF Chapter 3. If certain reports are anything to go by, the KGF team will go on floors for the third part in 2025. Before KGF Chapter 3, Yash will be seen in Yash19 but official details about the same are yet to be obtained.

Apart from Yash and Raveena, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, and all other characters got praised for their stellar performances in KGF Chapter 2. KGF 2 still remains at the second spot in the list of Indian movies with the highest global box office collections.
