Kannada's Rocking Star Yash is currently one of the most celebrated actors pan India and also has a fandom in several overseas countries. The enormous success of KGF Chapter 1 still remains a benchmark in the Indian film industry and anticipation among all action-movie lovers, KGF and Yash's fans for KGF Chapter 2 is skyrocketing with each passing day.

Releasing KGF Chapter 1 starring Yash as Rocky Bhai targeting pan-India audience was not the initial thought of KGF helmer Prashanth Neel, who is also the writer of the KGF series. However, there was someone strong behind the idea of taking the KGF series to pan-India audience.

In the new era, after Tollywood superstar Prabhas' Baahubali series, KGF Chapter 1 went on to become the most successful movie across the country. It is even expected that KGF Chapter 2 which is scheduled to release on April 14, 2021, will break several other records of the Indian film industry, as the official teaser only has already broken several worldwide records.
Works for KGF started in 2016. As reported earlier by odishatv.in, Prashanth opted for Yash as Rocky Bhai, as for pan-India market, the makers needed a big budget and big star. Yash was a celebrated actor in KFI and he was the only actor who had 50Cr box office collection and several hit movies in his account.
However, earlier in an interview, Prashanth said that after listening to the story of KGF, it was Yash who proposed to take the movie pan-India. Yash pitched producer Vijay Kiragandur to release KGF Chapter 1 across India in different languages. Even, Yash single-handedly promoted the movie across the country.
Considering the length of KGF story, Prashanth decided to split the movie in two parts and Yash was completely comfortable with that and took the huge risk. Now, the result is before all.
Meanwhile, in an interview, the Rocking Star said, when, at first, he proposed the makers to release the movie pan-India, they were not ready to listen to him. Even though they were convinced with the proposal, distributors in North India treated him as a salesman and denied him to release KGF Chapter 1. However, following the hype surrounding KGF Chapter 1, the distributors showed interest in releasing the first instalment of KGF series. Now, after the massive success of KGF1, distributors across India clashed to acquire the distribution rights.
It is believed that KGF Chapter 2 will break several blockbuster records of Indian cinema and Yash will script another history.
Yash's most anticipated movie KGF 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt as the lead antagonist Adheera along with Raveena Tandon as the Prime Minister Ramika Sen. Srinidhi Shetty will continue to portray as the lady love of Rocky Bhai Yash and Prakash Raj will be seen in a prominent role apart from others.
