'Keerthy Dosa nahi...Keerthy Suresh' Baby John actress schools paparazzi, watch
South beauty Keerthy Suresh is in the headlines for her debut in Bollywood with Baby John, opposite Varun Dhawan. Moreover, she is also in the limelight post her marriage to longtime boyfriend Antony Thattil in a traditional South Indian style in Goa on December 12. While the photos of her wedding went viral on social media, she won the hearts of netizens as she proudly flaunted her yellow-threaded Thaali during the promotion of Baby John. Fans couldn't stop gushing over the actress as she effortlessly blended tradition with modernity. However, recently the actress went through an unpleasant experience after paparazzi reportedly called her Keerthy 'Dosa'.
Though sounds surprising, the unpleasant incident took place in Mumbai and the actress schooled the paparazzi and resorted to correcting them.
As per reports, Keerthy was spotted in Mumbai on Thursday night as she ventured out after Christmas donning a denim dress. As she stepped out of the venue, paparazzi started flashing cameras on her. Keerthy also posed for the photographers. However, to draw her attention, a few from the paparazzi in an intent to draw her attention called out to her by referring her as Kriti. The Dasara actress immediately corrected them, saying 'Kirti' nahi Kreethy.
After this, a few photographers began shouting 'Dosa', a term used by the photographers to refer the south Indian actors, which is quite controversial. This left Keerthy miffed and she added, "Keerthy dosa nahi, Keerthy Suresh. Aur dosa mujhe pasand hai (I'm not Keerthy dosa but Keerthy Suresh. But I like dosa).”
Well, after that she posed for the paps and walked away while waving her hand.
Indeed, it was an unpleasant incident for Keerthy, who won a national award for her prolific performance in Mahanati.
Notably, Varun Dhawan's thrilling mass entertainer has received a mixed response from the audience. Also starring Keerthy and Wamiqa Gabbi, the movie failed to sustain its opening momentum. The Kalees directorial has been performing low at the box office for the third consecutive day. However, Salman Khan's unexpected cameo as 'Agent Bhaijaan' in the action thriller has garnered much love.
