2008's 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' must be holding a special place in the hearts of Ranbir Kapoor's fans and the actor for various reasons. After the debacle of Saawariya, Bachna Ae Haseeno emerged as a hit and is still remembered for this very reason. The movie portrayed RK as a playboy and starred Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, and Minissha Lamba in lead roles. However, movie fanatics are least aware that Katrina Kaif also played a part in the movie.

During a recent interview with Midday, Kat opened up about a lesser-known aspect of her career. She revealed that she was initially slated to star in Bachna Ae Haseeno and was supposed to portray the character of Ranbir's fourth girlfriend. However, her character didn't make it to the final cut.

Kat was quoted as saying, “Bachna Ae Haseeno, I was the fourth girl. That character got cut.”

For the unversed, Bachna Ae Haseeno marked the second film for both Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The storyline of the flick revolves around RK's character. After breaking the hearts of three women, he finally finds his true love and settles with her. While Minissha Lamba and Bipasha Basu were seen as the girls whose hearts were broken by Ranbir, Deepika portrayed the role of the girl Ranbir ultimately falls in love.

Further, during the interview, Kat also revealed that she wanted to play Anushka Sharma's character in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero.

Well, the addition of Katrina could have added more excitement to the movie and marked the first onscreen pairing of Ranbir-Katrina as well. Ranbir and Katrina worked together in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), Rajneeti (2010), and Jagga Jasoos (2017). Fans loved their onscreen as well as offscreen pairing. Fans would certainly love to see Ranbir and Katrina together again.
