Prabhas is poised to captivate audiences with his much-anticipated ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ featuring stellar co-star-cast of Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. However, as fans of the star eagerly await this futuristic spectacle, another revelation has stirred excitement.
According to reports, Prabhas is set to embark on the shooting of his next project, ‘Spirit’ soon. The news was confirmed by the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga during the pre-release event of Vishwak Sen’s Gaami.
As per Pinkvilla's report, Vanga revealed that the shooting of Spirit will start sometime at the end of 2024.
Prabhas will portray the role of an angry young cop in the movie which will be in Sandeep’s signature style, with no compromise on violence, added the Pinkvilla report.
Earlier, production designer Suresh Selvarajan had also said that Prabhas’ Spirit will be much bigger and grander than Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
Rashmika is rumoured to play the female lead opposite Prabhas. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers on this.
The film will be bankrolled by ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Animal’ producer Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner.
Apart from this, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly in talks with Salman Khan for his upcoming dark action crime thriller. Vanga will also be teaming up with Allu Arjun for one of his projects.
