Bollywood's charming actor Kartik Aaryan is basking in the success of his last release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The horror-comedy, also starring Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in lead roles, grossed over Rs 417 crore (US$50 million) worldwide making the film a box office success and received mixed reviews from the critics. Now, the excitement among fans has doubled after Koki announced his collaboration with Dharma Productions for Tu Meri Mein Tera Mein Tera Tu Meri.

While Koki is extremely excited about returning to his favourite genre rom-com, reports have been abuzz that the Chandu Champion actor is being paid a whopping amount of Rs 50 crore for the film. With this, Koki has become the youngest highest-paid actor in Bollywood. Well, Kartik Aaryan's journey from getting Rs 1500 for his first assignment to being offered Rs 50 crore defines the true meaning of 'The Rise'.

A couple of months back, during the promotion of Chandu Champion, Kartik disclosed the amounts he received during his initial days.

During his conversation with Raj Shamani for his podcast, Koki revealed the remuneration for his first-ever assignment and first film 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama'.

The Shehzada actor said, "Pyaar Ka Punchnama wasn’t Rs 1 crore. It was Rs 70,000. I didn’t make that much even for 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. I only started making money after that."

He also expressed his anxiousness about TDS back in the day. Those days, I used to worry a lot about TDS. The tax would already be deducted from my paycheque. I made Rs 63,000 for 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' after taxes. TDS used to really worry me," he said.

"I remember making Rs 1,500 for my first ad, and Rs 70,000 for the first film. And now, I’ve climbed up to this number," Kartik added.

Well, if the latest reports are anything to go by, Kartik will be paid an impressive Rs 50 crore for his role in 'Tu Meri Mein Tera Mein Tera Tu Meri'. While the collaboration has already created a significant buzz, with a total budget of Rs 150 crore, the flick is touted as one of the most ambitious rom-coms in recent times.

Reportedly, following the success of Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik's market value has surged. His rising popularity has cemented his place among Bollywood's highest-paid actors.
