  • Kartik Aaryan on his birthday today announced a project with Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.
  • Helmed by Sandeep Modi, it will be an epic war film.

Kartik Aaryan kicked off his birthday on a good note as he ended his feud of a couple of years with Karan Johar by announcing an epic war project with the Dharma Boss. Since it is going to be a big-budget project Ekta Kapoor is also bankrolling some part of the finance and thus the trio is gearing up to feast the audience with a top-of-the-world flick.

The same was announced by Koki on his social media handle in a heartfelt post that reads, “An unforgettable chapter of our glorious Indian history full of valour and sacrifice is now going to be a part of my life.. a subject close to my heart.. super proud and excited to embark on a new journey..” Sandeep Modi who is known for his recent OTT hits like The Night Manager and Aarya will be directing this epic flick.

It is a first-of-its-kind film for Kartik Aaryan who has never done such a high-octane action or war movie. But recently during an interview, Kartik Aaryan did say that his dream project is working in a war movie and now the same has come true. It seems Koki was already in discussion with Karan, Ekta, and the team on this topic and finally, things have turned up as he manifested.

Reportedly it is going to be a prep-heavy film that will involve a lot of action and hence the Love Aaj Kal actor will have to go through a lot of transformation to play the part. Written by Aseem Arora, the director Sandeep Modi was fascinated with the topic and hence approached Karan Johar and Kartik with it.

The movie celebrates the Indian Army and is set against a backdrop of the Army that has not been explored to date. More details will stream soon as the team gears up to scout for perfect locations and other aspects for making it a realistic depiction. Apart from that Kartik Aaryan is now looking forward to the release of Chandu Champion directed by Kabir Khan set to hit the theaters in June 2024.
