Karan Johar once said he would never invite these two Bollywood biggies on KWK; here's why

Karan Johar is back with yet another season of Koffee With Karan. The first episode featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone triggered a huge debate, meme-fest, and discussions as the couple discussed certain controversial things about their relationships.

Ditto with the recently released Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol episode that is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. The siblings shared some interesting insights about their struggles, relationships with family members and stepsisters, and more.

Over the years Karan Johar has invited many big celebrities, superstars, actors, and directors on his show. The show has been all about gossip, sex talk, and some serious revelations and has more often triggered controversy as the guests talked openly about their affairs, and competitions, and a few even made some serious allegations against their colleagues. So how come someone like veteran actress Rekhaji who has led a single but controversial life all through her Bollywood career has not been invited on Koffee With Karan?

Sharing details about the same with The Hindu, the Dharma boss once said, “Well, I did bring it up once with Rekha ma’am, even as recently as a couple of seasons ago. I was very keen to have her appear on the show, but she wasn’t convinced. But after that, I felt she had such an exotic, beautiful mystery about her… it has to be protected always. So I didn’t push it after that.”

Another person whom Karan has decided never to invite on his talk show is his cousin and best friend Aditya Chopra. Talking about the same, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani director said that he is not brave enough to invite Adi on his talk show.

The first two episodes of KWK 8 have already triggered a lot of excitement and fans are eager to watch the upcoming episodes which are expected to feature Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, and many other big celebrities.
