Karan Johar-Priyanka Chopra animosity continues; Dharma boss fails to ....

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karan Johar earlier shared a good bond. Karan even offered her a movie like Dostana which helped PeeCee gain the tag of desi girl and became a hot favourite of millions of Indians. But during the rumoured Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra affair, Karan Johar sided with his dear friend Gauri Khan and with her girl gang made every efforts to stop PeeCee from getting good projects.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has appeared on Karan Johar ’s talk show multiple times – before and after moving out of Bollywood. While in the talk shows, events and functions both have maintained that they share a good bonding, in reality, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was never accepted in the fold of A-listed Bollywood group. And that seems evident even now.

Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, Isha Ambani, and many other Indian celebrities graced the blue carpet at Met Gala 2025. Karan Johar, the most popular person in the Bollywood A-listed circle acknowledged and appreciated the presence of almost all of them at the Gala but skipped mentioning Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Karan shared the videos of SRK, Kiara, Manish Malhotra, Diljit Dosanjh, Natasha Poonawala, and others from the Met Gala 2025. Specially for Shah Rukh Khan he penned, “ALLL HAIL the KING of the MET. The internet just broke into a gazillion hearts!!!!! @iamsrk …. bhai you RULE!” From calling Kiara Advani stunning as well as appreciating her mommy glow to acknowledging the regal look of Diljit Dosanjh calling him a fashion royalty.

But there was no mention of Priyanka or Nick Jonas who also were well received on blue carpet at Met Gala 2025.

Fans can recall the feud between the Dil Dhadakne Do actress and My Name is Khan Director when their social media posts directed against each other attracted a lot of attention on the web. In 2012, Karan Johar tweeted, “Using their hired PR machinery and hiding behind so-called ‘friends’ to get news into tabloids is nothing but spineless and lame. Some people need to wake up and smell the KOFFEE!!! Get a reality check before it’s too late!!! Grow up!!! And don’t mess with goodness…..”

Fans believed that this was directed at Priyanka Chopra Jonas because the tweet came immediately after a friend of the actress revealed in a tabloid that Karan Johar was quite mean to PeeCee at a party. Even recently Priyanka had shared that she feels cornered by Bollywood and was forced to try her destiny abroad after she had a beef with certain people.

And it seems that beef between Karan Johar and Priyanka Chopra continues which is why the director did not mention the Quantico actress in his Met Gala 2025 appreciation post.
