Karan Johar welcomed his first leading ladies Kajol and Rani Mukerji on Koffee with Karan Season 8 recently. The cousins had a great time with their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director and once again revealed their strong bond with Karan. The trio shared some interesting incidents from the making of KKHH on the show. From Kajol threatening to walk out to Karan calling the girls bitchy it was all in good faith.
But then there were some shocking revelations. Rani was first offered Lagaan but could not do so because of date issues. Similarly, Kajol was offered roles in both 3 Idiots and Dil Toh Pagal Hai but rejected them for unknown reasons. It is however a known fact that Karan Johar had written the role of Tina keeping Twinkle Khanna in mind. But when she said no, he approached many other actresses including Urmila Matondkar and Raveena Tandon.
This was the best and funniest episode of this season KWK until now I laughed so much🤣, the quiz round just made me roll on the floor with laughter 😂😂😂😂.

But all of them refused to do the role which is when Karan approached a newcomer Rani Mukerji. On the Koffee with Karan Season 8 the Black actress revealed how she was made to starve by both Karan and designer Manish Malhotra so that she could fit into a particular sexy orange dress.
Rani said that Manish was a bit lenient but Karan was very strict and even her mother who had accompanied Rani for the shoot told the hotel staff that no food should be sent to her daughter.
The efforts did pay off as Rani Mukerji looked very beautiful and glamorous in all the shorts and sexy outfits that she wore in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Rani also revealed how Aditya Chopra manages to sneak out from the airport with their daughter Adira as she poses for the paparazzi.
The actress revealed that he and Aditya do not want to expose Adira to the media as of yet.
