Kantara 2 script finalised, official announcement soon!

Kannada movie Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty emerged as a blockbuster taking the pride of Sandalwood to new heights. Following that, the makers announced a sequel to the movie that filled excitement among all. However, Rishab or the production banner is yet to announce any development of Kantara 2.

However, now it seems, the long wait of fans will end soon and the makers will soon make an official announcement for the sequel.

As per the latest reports, the script of Kantara 2 has been finalised. A source close to the director and actor Rishab disclosed that an official announcement will be made shortly.

Hombale Films, the production banner under which Kantara was produced, announced the production of the sequel during the celebration of 100 days of the film. The script work was taken up in the month of March.

As per the source, the team had given the final touches to the script for Kantara 2, and producer Vijay Kiragandur and Rishab are happy about the same.

Soon after the reports of script completion spread in the industry, Kantara lovers started celebrations on social media expressing their eagerness for the official updates of the movie.

The source also revealed that Rishab along with his team is hunting locations despite the rains. If everything goes well, the film will go to the floors in June, the source added.
