Kabir Khan shares his formula for making a hit movie; contribution of Salman Khan Watch

Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan have been giving back-to-back interviews as a part of their promotions for Chandu Champion. The flick released a couple of days ago is slowly picking up and hopefully with word of mouth will become a hit. Kabir Khan who wrote the script of Chandu Champion keeping Kartik Aaryan in mind recently during one of his interviews shared his special formula to make a hit movie and more than that the entire story and situation relevant.

He also revealed how Salman Khan’s presence in Bajrangi Bhaijan made it such a big blockbuster. The 83 directors said, “Salman is the carrier of Bajrangi Bhaijan. Main ye nahi kaha rahan hoon ke Salman ke bina Bajrangi Bhaijan successful nahi hoti. Woh bahot khobsurat kahani hai aur woh successful hoti. Log usko dekhte. Lekin would it become the monster hit of the industry that it is today without Salman? No! That is very important. He is the carrier.”

Kabir Khan continued, “Lekin duniya credible banane ke liye muzhe lana hai Girish Karnad. Jo log inke aas paas kabhi the hi nahi. Ranveer Shorey, Girish Karnad aur Roshan Seth jab Ek Tha Tiger mein aate hai toh suddenly duniya real lagne lagti hai. Yaar iss duniya mein Salman kya kar raha hai. That is my thrill and I always follow that. I think in Bajrangi also Nawazuddin aur Om Puri what they brought to that world is completely unexpected.”

Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijan are two of the biggest hits of the Kabir Khan and Salman Khan pair. Now both are desperately looking for a big hit. Kabir Khan’s last release 83 was a biopic on the life of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev’s life but it was a big disaster at the box office. Similarly, Salman’s last few releases have failed to perform as expected.
