Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is counted among the most bankable actors. Moreover, Koki's charm, comedy timing, acting skills, and above all, his monologue on modern relationships, earned him a dedicated fanbase. Throughout his acting career spanning over a decade, he has been a part of some of the commercially successful movies. Now, all eyes are on his upcoming Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Currently, Koki is busy with promotions of Chandu Champion.
During a recent interview, Koki disclosed that he is scared of his notorious dating rumours. He also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor took away one thing from him.
Kartik Aaryan says, 'Dara dara ghoom raha hu...’
During the interview for Raj Shamani's YouTube channel, Koki talked about the attention on his dating life. While earlier, the Pyaar ka Punchnama actor has been linked with Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor, he admitted being currently single.
When quizzed about his 'notorious' dating rumours, Koki said, "Mera personal life at one point pe kaafi talked about ho gaya tha uss moment pe. Tab se aaj tak wahi chal raha hai. Main toh privately bhi date nahi kar raha hu. Abhi toh dara dara ghum raha hoon shayad (My personal life was talked about a lot at one point of time. Till now, it has been the same thing. I am not even dating privately. Just roaming around scared, I guess).”
Further, he revealed that dating is different in his position as the number of people he meets has become limited.
"You meet very few people after getting famous. Because of your work, you meet a very limited number of people. Your day goes in that zone. It becomes like that. You might earn a lot, and become famous, but one thing is for sure that you can’t buy love…. I’m not dating anyone. I’m even called a romantic hero, but I have been unlucky in love. So, I feel I have to find the right person whenever that happens,” he added.
Ranbir Kapoor took THIS thing away from Koki!
Koki, with his stellar onscreen performance, has cemented his place in the hearts of moviegoers. He is fondly dubbed as 'Janta Ka Superstar' with several super hits in his filmography.
Fans are well aware that Koki debuted in 2011 with Luv Ranjan's buddy comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The movie was one of its kind and emerged as a sleeper hit. The dynamic duo again teamed for the sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 in 2015 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in 2018. Both the movies were commercially successful. However, Luv teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor Luv’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar in 2023. Though Koki made a cameo in the movie, when asked to share a specific quality about Ranbir Kapoor, during a rapid-fire session, he said, “I think woh toh mera director le gaya tha naa us time! Apne director bacha ke rakho (I think he had taken my director away at that time! Keep your director safe.)”
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion is slated to release on June 14. He is also busy with horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Triptti Dimri, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles.
