Jr NTR’s Devara: Bobby Deol joins Saif Ali Khan as antagonist, check details!

Jr NTR’s Devara is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. Starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, the movie has Saif Ali Khan as the lead antagonist. Now reports are abuzz that Bobby Deol is all set to join the Devara team as an antagonist with Saif. Reportedly he will have a small role in Devara Part 1, but a full-fledged role in the second part of the movie.

Hindustan Times has reported that the team of Devara currently is in talks with the Animal actor and the discussions have already reached the final stage. Throwing light on the screen time of Bobby Deol and Saif Ali Khan in the two movies from the Devara franchise, the source said, “Saif Ali Khan will be the main antagonist in Devara Part 1 and Bobby Deol will enter Devara Part 1 towards the end of the film. In Devara Part 2, both Saif and Bobby will have meaty roles as antagonists.”

The last couple of years have been very good for Bobby Deol career-wise after a dull phase in his Bollywood journey that extended for a decade or so. It was the web series Aashram and Salman Khan’s Race 3 that brought Junior Deol back into the reckoning. However, it was Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal released last year that gave a huge boost to the career of Lord Bobby.

Coming to Devara, it will be the first Southern movie for Janhvi Kapoor who has been gushing about her experience ever since she started shooting with Jr. NTR. During the India Today Conclave 2023, the Dhadak actress said that for her working with Tarak was like a dream come true since after watching RRR she could understand the magnitude of his charisma.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 will hit the theaters on December 27, 2024.
