Telugu actor Jr NTR and Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor are set to showcase their magical chemistry for the first time on screen in their upcoming film ‘Devara: Part 1’. 

Recently, Janhvi hinted at her excitement about shooting another song with Jr NTR. The actress, gearing up for her Telugu debut, expressed her enthusiasm during an interview with Mashable India. 

When asked if she would prefer to act with Amitabh Bachchan or perform a dance number with Hrithik Roshan or Vicky Kaushal, she responded, “I just shot a song with Jr NTR sir and I can’t wait to shoot our next song together. I will choose that; I want to dance with Jr NTR.”

The duo reportedly filmed their first song for ‘Devara’ in Thailand. Janhvi had previously spoken at length about her role in Koratala Siva’s ‘Devara’ during the promotions of her film ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’. She described her role as very entertaining and shared her overwhelming experience on set, where she observed people working with love, conviction, and passion. The actress expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.

‘Devara: Part 1’, directed by Koratala Siva, will be the first part of a two-part film series starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The action film also features Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. The cast includes actors such as Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, and many others in pivotal roles.

The song, initially scheduled for release on May 19, was postponed to September 27 due to the general elections and upcoming post-production work. Fans eagerly await the film, anticipating the on-screen magic between Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Devara: Part 1’.

Devara: Part 1 is expected to hit the theatres on September 27, 2024.
