Jigra sister-brother: Alia Bhatt reveals hidden talent of Vedang Raina on Raksha Bandhan

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina are paired as sister and brother in their upcoming movie Jigra. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan today, both Alia and Vedang engaged in a live Insta session as a part of Jigra promotions. While talking about The Archies actor, Alia Bhatt said , “Vedang and I have starred in a movie together. That is called Jigra. Directed by the wonderful, lovely Vasan Bala. And our film is releasing on the 11th of October. Toh ye ho gaya promotion.”

She continued, “But jo hum aaj karne wale hai is very simple. Mujhe aisa laga basically in the film Vedang is playing my brother. I am his sister and today because it is Raksha Bandhan I just felt that it is only fair that Vedang can give me some sort of gift, present in some form. And again obviously we talked about this my thought was jinko pata nahi hai and one of the important facts that I have found recently is that Vedang is an outstanding singer.”

While Alia Bhatt continued promoting Jigra saying things about Vedang, the young actor smilingly was quietly listening to what the Raazi actress was saying. The Highway actress continued, “He is outstanding as a singer. Like really when I am promoting constantly I can just give the mike to you constantly and make you sing. I think I am done singing and I am done over it. But you are fantastic we all know and I would like you to sing a song for me.”

Vedang in reply said, “Okay, you really put me on the spot. This is the first time I am doing but it is okay. But I will get my guitar and then we can start.” Alia replied, “It’s so cool man. Vedang can sing and play guitar at the same time. It is something I always wanted to do.” Finally, Vedang sang the famous “Phoolon ka taron ka” song for Alia and said that he was very nervous but the pressure was off now.
