Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Katrina Kaif’s Jee Le Zaraa created quite a stir when it was announced a few months ago. Apart from bringing three big Bollywood queens in one movie, Farhan Akhtar is also returning as the director after a gap of long years. However, after the initial hype, there was no news about the movie with many speculating that the movie written by the celebrated team of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagtai was no more happening.
However, Alia Bhatt recently put a stop to all such speculations when she shared an update on the same during her media interaction. The Brahmastra actress said that it was definitely happening and that Jee Le Zaraa will go on the floors in 2023 since its work cannot start now due to her pregnancy. She added that the team is not in the mood to let go of the film and that all of them are fighting for it as well as excited about it since it’s going to be quite massive.
And now the latest update is that Ishaan Khatter has been roped in to play the male lead in this big collaboration which is going to be one of a kind and first-ever road-trip-based women-centric movie. With three big actresses coming together there were a lot of speculations and guessing regarding the male stars who will be featuring in Jee Le Zaraa.
However, the name of Ishaan has come up as a surprise because many expected a big star to join the star cast as already it is quite a big one. The film will be produced by Farhan Akthar and Riteish Sidwani’s Excel Entertainment which has already delivered out-of-the-box and path-breaking films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Chahata Hai, Gully Boy, and Dil Dhadakne Do.
With such a big legacy of hits, there is no doubt that people have a lot of expectations from Jee Le Zaara. Most importantly it can also turn out to be a game changer for Ishaan Khatter who is struggling to gain a position in Bollywood after the debacle of Khaali Peeli.
