Mom to-be Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Darlings has amazed everyone with its trailer and movie buffs are waiting eagerly for the film to release on Netflix on August 5. 

Pregnant Alia, who is on a promotional spree, gave a hilarious reply when asked if she wants a boy, a girl or twins.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, when asked if she wants a “Baba, baby ya twins (a boy, a girl or twins)” Alia replies with a smile, “Baba, baby ya twins... I don’t know. Joh bhagwan dede, bhagwan nahi matlab joh mile…” and then director Jasmeet K. Reen jokingly says, “Joh Ranbir dede” and the two burst out laughing. 

“Just a healthy baby, that’s all one wishes for,” Alia adds and then confirms she was referring to the baby in the film.

With Netflix’s Darlings, Alia will make as a producer.  The dark comedy drama also features Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew.

On work front, the actress will be seen in the much-anticipated fantasy drama Brahmastra by Ayan Mukerji, which will be her debut film alongside her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor. 

The film, which will hit theatres on September 9, will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy.
