Indian Idol 12 stars Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are back to mesmerize audiences with their soulful singing. 

The duo has collaborated for the first time on a Bengali song with renowned music composer Jeet Gannguli, specifically for the Durga Puja celebrations.

The festive track is titled “Jhinkunakur Duggathakur.” Jeet Gannguli shared a post featuring himself with Pawandeep, Arunita, and Chandrani Ganguli. 

In a short video, the four of them can be seen announcing in Bengali, “Amra aschi Pujo gaan nie” (we’re coming with a Pujo song).

In the video, Arunita is dressed in a traditional Bengali saree while Pawandeep showcases a different look in a dhoti and kurta. 

Fans have expressed their excitement in the comments, dropping heart and fire emojis. One user wrote, “Wow, touch wood! Excited, can't wait for the first Bengali song!” Another commented, “Looking forward with excitement.”

Currently, both Arunita and Pawandeep are mentoring young talents on Sony’s singing reality show Superstar Singer. Previously, they collaborated on tracks like “Manzoor Dil,” “Fursat,” “Dekhaa Tujhe Toh Lagaa,” and “Tere Sang Jhum Jhum Lage,” all of which have been loved by their fans.
