The hype around the much-awaited flick Dhoom 4 has again gained momentum with the recent reports of Ranbir Kapoor locked to play the antagonist. Now, a recent report claims that Vijay Krishna Acharya, who wrote all the three instalments of Dhoom franchise and directed Dhoom 3, has been finalised as the director of Dhoom reboot.

As per an exclusive report by Bollywood Hungama, filmmaker Aditya Chopra has locked Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor as the writer and director of Dhoom 4.

The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, "Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor has written the script for Dhoom 4. He has written all the previous three Dhoom films and directed one, so it was natural for him to be given the responsibility. He will also be directing the film."

Well, Dhoom 3 written and directed by Victor, starring Aamir Khan as the antagonist with Katrina Kaif in a crucial role went on to become the highest-grossing movie of the time. While Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprised their iconic cop roles in three parts of the franchise, as per recent reports the makers will replace the OG cops with new generation actors.
