Sony TV's Indian Idol 12 has become the most controversial season of the music reality show. Since the begging of the season, the show has been mired in controversies.
The controversy erupted after guest judge Amit Kumar revealed that the makers had asked him to praise the contestants.
Subsequently, former judges like Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan amongst others also slammed the makers and exposed the show.
Meanwhile, past contestants of the show also have come forward and expressed their views on the singing show for its overdramatic content.
Indian Idol Season One's winner Abhijeet Sawant and Amit Sana have come down heavily on the makers of the show for highlighting Pawandeep and Arunita love affair on the show.
Abhijit said, "It was wrong to add a love angle to Pawandeep and Arunita's relationship. It was not needed at all. It is wrong to gain popularity by releasing pictures of the parents of the contestants."
He also felt that the judges of the show should have refrained from being part of such things.
Amit Sana has also questioned the makers, "Even a small thing should not be left behind. This show should not have been made Big Boss. It doesn't feel good. There was a temper of emotion in the show, which was not right."
Notably, the grand finale is scheduled to air on 15th August for 12 hours starting from noon to midnight. Contestants Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kishore Kamble, Nihal Tauro, Md. Danish and Shanmukha Priya are currently in fight for the trophy.
