  • Hrithik Roshan's Alcoholia song from Vikram Vedha was badly slammed by netizens.
  • A few fans believe that the makers have ruined the original version.

Hrithik Roshan’s 'Alcoholia' song from his upcoming flick Vikram Vedha is out and as expected Duggu has danced fabulously giving his fans some iconic steps to follow. However, movie fans from the Southern industry are not quite happy with the lyrics and the song as they believe that the Hindi version is just not up to the mark and has ruined the ethos of the original song.

As is known, Vikram Vedha is a remake of a South Indian movie by the same name and was a big hit. The Tamil movie is inspired by the folklore Baital Pachisi which has been passed on from generations together in India. The Tamil movie starred R Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Shraddha Srinath in the lead. The Hindi version of the movie will star Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles apart from Hrithik.

It is a big movie for Hrithik who will return to the big screen after a gap of long years and he is expecting another hit in his kitty with Vikram Vedha. However, things have changed after the pandemic with the Indian audience now exposed to all types of content in all the Indian and international languages through OTT. And that is why, remakes are being slammed, especially the Bollywood movies that have been inspired by Southern big hits.

The comparisons hence are inevitable. Since the song has been out, most Southern film fans have slammed it and many even suggested that at least the edit should have been done by a capable editor from the South film industry. However, a few fans have also pointed out that the composer duo of Vishal and Shekhar has made the song 10 times better by adding the beats of dhol to it.

Irrespective of all this discussion, the fans of Hrithik Roshan have welcomed 'Alcoholia' with open arms and they are already happy to see their favourite superstar back in action.
