The romantic action film 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' (2000) introduced the handsome hunk, Hrithik Roshan, into the movie industry as the lead. Along with Duggu, Ameesha Patel also made her debut.

The movie has left a mark in the minds of movie lovers for several reasons. Be it for Hrithik or his onscreen chemistry with Ameesha or the music, movie lovers showered praises for the movie. Though Ameesha was left behind in the race, Hrithik continues to enthral the audience with his spectacular action, dance and acting skills.

The first-time pairing of Hrithik and Ameesha was widely appreciated and fans still are in awe of the movie. Many have several memories associated with the movie.

After around 22 years, Ameesha has shared an unseen pic of her with her co-star. Taking to Twitter, Ameesha shared the pic and captioned, " THROWBACK WEEKEND SERIES …@hrithikroshan n me in the house I grew up in South Mumbai .. both our families along with friends were at my home celebrating before starting the shoot of KAHO NAA PYAAR HAIN .. we started filming few days after this picture 💖💖💖🧿 "

Before that, the 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' actress clarified that she was requested by her fans zillions of times to share throwback pictures and videos from her professional as well as personal life.

She started sharing throwback pics from August 5. Her first throwback pic was with Ghazal Maestro Jagjit Singh. Sharing the pic, she wrote, "This was the FIRST day of my shoot 4 KAHO NAA PYAAR HAIN-began w/ the song “JAANEMAN JAANEMAN”.. my Godfather the legend ghazal maestro JAGJIT SINGHJI came by the set 2 wish me GOODLUCK- as all know im a huge lover as well of his GHAZALS n know every one of them by heart ❤️ "

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai emerged as a blockbuster in 2000. The movie clinched several awards paving way for the debutants. However, the initial success was followed by roles in a series of critical and commercial failures. Duggu once again bounced back with 'Koi... Mil Gaya' when it was speculated that his career was on the verge of end.

On the other hand, Ameesha lost her glam. Though 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' went on to become a blockbuster, she managed to appear in limited movies with only supporting characters. Her celeb identity faded away and she was also dragged into several controversies. Now, the actress is prepping up for the sequel to her remarkable flick, 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'.
