Hera Pheri 3: Paresh Rawal teases release plans of comic caper with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty!

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal's upcoming comic caper, Hera Pheri 3 is one of the much-awaited flicks. Soon after the official confirmation of Priyadarshan taking the helm, fans were thrilled. And now, the latest reports of Priyadarshan filming the first shot of Hera Pheri 3 with the OGs have taken the enthusiasm of moviegoers to the next level. Amid the soaring excitement, Paresh Rawal seems to have dropped a major hint on the release plans for the third instalment of the comic caper franchise.

Paresh Rawal recently shared the new trailer of Andaz Apna Apna, set to re-release on April 25, 2025. Fans expressed their excitement for the cult comedy's re-release in the comments section.

Well, one fan, referring to his (Paresh) characters in Hera Pheri and Andaz Apna Apna, wrote, "We are waiting for Babu Bhai, Mr Teza." (sic)

Responding to the fan, the Oh My God! actor seemingly teased the release plans of Hera Pheri 3. Paresh wrote, "Soon soon! Before the next monsoon!.” (sic)

As it seems, the makers have targets of releasing Hera Pheri 3 before monsoon 2026.

According to the latest reports, Priyadarshan filmed the promo for the official announcement of Hera Pheri 3. A report by Hindustan Times confirmed that Priyadarshan conceived a fresh promo with a screenplay by Rohan Sarkar, and not an old sequence written by the late Neeraj Vora.

However, the full-scale production of Hera Pheri 3 is yet to begin. Filmmaker Priyadarshan is busy shooting for his upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla with Akshay Kumar. It is expected that he will lock the VFX and post-production by June 2025. A source close to the development disclosed that Priyadarshan will get back to Hera Pheri 3 after wrapping Bhooth Bangla and spend some time on the script before taking it on floors. Moviegoers certainly can't wait for the announcement and the first glimpse.
