Moreover, the buzz of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal reuniting with Gulshan Grover and Tabu for the third part thrilled everyone. While fans have been waiting for updates on the project, a recent report claimed that filmmaker Priyadarshan is planning to start writing the script for Hera Pheri 3 next year. However, the latest report claims that the shooting of Hera Pheri 3 began on Thursday (April 3) with the OGs.

According to an exclusive report by Hindustan Times, Priyadarshan shot the first scene of Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay, Suniel and Paresh today.

A close source to the production team revealed to the news portal that the filmmaker shot the first scene of Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay, Suniel and Paresh today. Further, the source also revealed that the scene is focused on bringing back the memories of the iconic roles played by the actors.

Reflecting on the high expectations surrounding Hera Pheri 3 due to the widespread popularity of the earlier instalments, Priyadarshan shared his thoughts on the third instalment of the beloved franchise. An earlier report by HT quoted the filmmaker as saying, "I plan to start work, start writing Hera Pheri 3 sometime next year. It is going to be very challenging to make the third part because there will be too many expectations."

Further, he added, "People are waiting to see Akshay, Paresh and Suniel again and we always say that it is easy to make people cry, it is easy to scare people but to make them laugh is very difficult and that too without using double entendre dialogues ..you have to make humour so pure and identifiable. Then, humour also changes, and the taste of the society changes."

The filmmaker also noted that the characters have gotten older and accordingly people should believe. And Priyadarshan takes it up as a challenge.
