Apart from the outrage of fans when he did a pan masala ad or his controversial statement that “Bollywood cannot afford me” he has only caused triggers at the box office.

The Tollywood superstar is known as a big philanthropist who has been helping the poor, needy, and destitute for a long time. Reportedly, he donates 30% of his annual income to charity so that those in need can live a better life. He also has established Mahesh Babu Foundation which connects non-profits, donors, and companies.

The NGO is based in Hyderabad, Telangana and it actively supports children who are in need of surgeries related to heart ailments. To date, with his support, the Andhra Hospitals have been able to successfully save more than 1000 children through surgeries.

The Foundation also supports causes that lead to women's empowerment such as girl child education. Through this foundation, Mahesh Babu has also adopted two villages and developed them into smart villages.

He mostly eats fruits

As he turns 48 today, Mahesh Babu continues to look as youthful and handsome as he was during his twenties and the reason is his diet. The superstar eats six times a day but most of his meals include fruit juices or fruits. Apart from that, he loves to run and can run for more than 1 hour continuously on the treadmill.

A family man to the core

For him, family has always been a priority and hence after completing every movie, he takes a break and goes on a vacation with his family.

Mahesh Babu’s love for his family is evident from the fact that he always shares glimpses of his family time with his wife Namrata, son Gautam and daughter Sitara on his social media account.
