Biggest Bollywod buzz: Rajamouli ropes in Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone for his next with Mahesh Babu

It is a known fact that SS Rajamouli will direct his next movie with Southern superstar Mahesh Babu and even the script has been finalized. However, not much is known about the other actors who will play important roles in the film.

Now, there is a strong buzz going around that the RRR director has decided to cast Bollywood’s current number-one actress Deepika Padukone as the lead actress. Importantly, the buzz also says that Bollywood’s famous superstar Aamir Khan has been approached to play the role of an antagonist in this film.

There is no confirmation from any authentic sources regarding this buzz, however, if the same comes true, it will not be surprising because post-Baahubali Rajamouli has been making movies keeping pan India audience in consideration.

In RRR, even though Ram Charan and Jr. NTR were the two leading Southern stars as heroes, the movie also had a cameo by Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt who featured in an important role in this film that won an Oscar this year.

Deepika Padukone made her debut in the film industry with a South Indian film and is already working with Rebel star Prabhas for Nag Ashwin’s Project K, a science fiction. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan in an important role. Coming to Aamir Khan, the Lagaan actor is currently on a hiatus as his last few movies were disasters at the box office.

Recently, during a media interaction, he even said that he will return to acting only when he is emotionally ready. Maybe the superstar right now needs a big director like Rajamouli to bounce back in Bollywood. Aamir has already played a negative role in Dhoom 3; hence, if he finds the role to be good enough to make a comeback, Aamir might decide to come on board with Deeps, and Mahesh Babu.

As of now, however, all these are speculations but fans of both Deepika and Aamir do want this buzz to manifest so that they can watch three big superstars sharing the screen in a Rajamouli magnum opus.
