Ghajini 2 is happening! AR Murugadoss to bring Suriya and Aamir Khan together?

Aamir Khan's 2008 action-thriller Ghajini, a remake of 2005's Tamil flick with the same title, starring Suriya in the lead, set a new benchmark in the Indian film industry paving the way for the Rs 100 crore club. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, Aamir's flick proved to be a game-changer, despite being a remake. For a couple of days, reports have been abuzz about Ghajini 2, streaming excitement among all. However, a recent report claims that Suriya dropped a hint that the Ghajini sequel is happening. 

As per the last reports, Aamir is interested in developing Ghajini into a franchise and brainstorming ideas to find a worthy subject for the sequel. Moreover, reports surfaced that AR Murugadoss is considering a Ghajini sequel with Suriya in the lead. Now, the latest reports suggest that Suriya dropped a hint about the sequel.

During a chat with Pinkvilla for the promotions of his upcoming Kanguva, also starring Bobby Deol, the Soorarai Pottru actor spilt beans about his reunion with Murugadoss. He also revealed that they are in talks to do Ghajini 2.

As per the report, Ghajini sequel will be a Tamil-Hindi bilingual flick as Murugadoss has plans to take up the project at the same time in Tamil and Hindi.

While Suriya will play the lead in the Tamil flick, Aamir will lead in the Hindi movie. Moreover, the report also suggests that both Suriya and Aamir will make a special appearance in each other's movies in their respective characters. If this happens, undeniably, the sequel will be massive.

However, it is still unclear if Murugadoss will bring a new challenge for Sanjay or weave an entirely new narrative. While no official statement about Ghajini 2 has been issued yet, it is speculated that the announcement will be made soon.

On the other hand, Ghajini 2 won't be happening anytime soon as Aamir, Suriya and Murugadoss are busy with their respective projects.
