From Kalki 2898 AD to Salaar 2: Prabhas' impressive movie lineup sure to rattle all superstars

Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire continues to attract thousands of footfalls to the theater across the world as it has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of recent times. With due credit to Prashanth Neel, the director, Salaar 1 has once again established that when it comes to portraying magnanimous characters on the screen, the Baahubali star has no replacement.

After facing a dull patch for a few years post back-to-back flops like Radhe Shyam and Adipurush, the Rebel star from Tollywood has bounced back splendidly. And it seems that he is here to stay and rule as the movies that he is currently working on are all expected to be big blockbusters in the upcoming couple of years.

Kalki 2898 AD has created a huge craze already

Directed by Nag Ashwin, this big-budget science fiction thriller has a stellar star cast including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani apart from Prabhas as the male lead. Its teaser released at Comic-Con event last year failed to trigger the buzz but the comments from celebrities like Rana Daggubati, SS Rajamouli, and Dulquer Salman have left the fans intrigued anticipating something out of the box.

Big-budget movie with Maruthi

Prabhas has already signed a big-budget movie with Southern director Maruthi. Earlier it was titled Raja Deluxe but now the makers are planning to change the name to something more interesting. The update and the first-look poster of the movie will be released in January 2024 and fans are eagerly waiting for the same to come on the web.

The abstract poster released earlier suggests that the Telugu superstar will once again don a romantic avatar for this film.

Spirit with Vanga

Prabhas has also signed on dotted lines for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next titled Spirit. Both the movies of Vanga-Animal and Kabir Singh have been big hits although he has faced a lot of flak for showing violence and aggression, especially towards women in a negative manner. Even then at present, Vanga is one of the biggest movie directors in India and that is why Spirit with Prabhas in the lead is expected to be a sure-shot winner at the box office.

Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2

Right from the beginning, Prashanth Neel had said that Salaar would be made into two parts. Now that the first part has become such a big hit, anticipation for Salaar 2 is very high. Fans are simply eager to know more about what will happen to Deva in the land of Khansaar which is torn and divided due to war.

These are the four biggies that are currently in the kitty of Prabhas and are enough to make any Indian superstar envious since all of them have the potential to become big hits. And if that happens Prabhas will once again become the Baahubali of Indian cinema.
