Finally! Urfi Javed meets her ‘grandfather’ Javed Akhtar

Fashionista Urfi Javed sets the internet ablaze with her every post. Be it a series of photographs or videos, Urfi is well aware of the tricks to keep her fans enthralled and social media users engaged.

However, in the initial days of grabbing the headlines following her eviction in Bigg Boss OTT, trolls connected Urfi with writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar and actress Shabana Azmi.

Later, Urfi clarified that she was in no way connected to Javed Akhtar, and people cooked up stories just because of her full name. 
Moreover, she also went on to say that this was done just to troll him (Javed Akhtar) and put his name down by associating her outfit controversy with him. 

Even Shabana Azmi stepped ahead after the matter got blown out of proportion and clarified that Urfi isn’t related to them in any way. 

However, almost after a year, Urfi referred to Javed Akhtar as her grandfather. 

Sharing a picture with Javed Akhtar on Twitter, Urfi wrote, “Finally I met my grandfather.”

She also shared the same picture on her Instagram story and wrote, “Finally met my grandfather today. Also he is a legend, right in the morning so many people lined up for selfies but he didn’t refuse anyone. Chatted with everyone with a smile. He was so warm. I’m in awe.”
