Emraan Hashmi CONFIRMS 'Awarapan 2: The Journey Continues' on birthday
Earlier this month, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi teased a clip that took fans on a nostalgic ride as it gave a glimpse into the world of 2007's Awarapan. Amid the trend of re-releases, speculations were rife that Hashmi's critically acclaimed drama will re-release in the theatres. However, several fans also pointed it to be the first glimpse of Awarapan 2. Well, on Monday, Emraan Hashmi ended all speculations and made his 46th birthday more special for his fans. He made the much-awaited announcement of Awarapan 2, a sequel to Awarapan.
Taking to Instagram, Emraan Hashmi shared another video that included some beautiful scenes from Awarapan. The clip ends with Hashmi's intense eyes and the release date of the sequel.
Sharing the clip, Hashmi wrote, "Bas mujhe kuch aur der Zinda rakh… #Awarapan2 in cinemas, 3rd April 2026." (sic)

Notably, Awarapan 2 will be a continuation of 2007's Awarapan. As it seems, Hashmi will reprise his iconic role of Gangster Shivam.
Well, soon after the official confirmation, fans can't keep calm. Fans have flooded the comments section expressing their excitement.
