Diljit Dosanjh dethrones Shah Rukh Khan, beats Allu Arjun! Know how

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has been enjoying a new high in his career. Apart from his dominance in the Indian music industry, Diljit has recently dethroned popular Indian celebrities like Allu Arjun, Shah Rukh Khan, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. The singer-actor has secured the top spot on the UK's list of the Top 50 Asian Celebrities in The World.

As per reports, Diljit secured a rank ahead of last year's topper SRK in the latest 2024 edition of the list published by UK Weekly Eastern Eye, which was released earlier this month.

Here's how Diljit beat SRK, Allu Arjun and Prabhas

Diljit managed to beat 2023's top rank holder SRK for working actively in movies, delivering hit tracks, international collaborations and his superhit Dil-Luminati tour.

Celebrities who follow Dilijit in the list

Diljit is followed by singer Charli XCX and Tollywood Icon Star Allu Arjun holds the 3rd position in the list. While Dev Patel holds the 4th rank in the list, he is followed by Priyanka Chopra (5th), actor Vijay (6th) and singer Arijit Singh (7th).

Other Indians who featured in the list are Tollywood Rebel Star Prabhas (14th), Rajkummar Rao (15th), Kartik Aaryan (25th), Amitabh Bachchan (26th), Alia Bhatt (30th), Shah Rukh Khan (32nd) and Hrithik Roshan (37th).

Here's how Diljit reacts

After achieving the milestone, Diljit took to his Instagram story and shared a post. However, instead of words, he chose to express his happiness through music. Re-sharing an article in his post, he added his song, Born To Shine. In another story, he tagged his latest song Don to a post about him topping the Top 50 Asian Celebrities in the World list.
