Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2: The Rule has been scripting new records globally. Continuing its box office rule, the movie has emerged as the biggest blockbusters of all time. However, despite its glorious performance in the Hindi belt, it was decided by PVR INOX to pull down Pushpa 2 from the theatres in North India.
As per reports, recently, the makers of Pushpa 2 landed in an argument with PVR INOX. Following that, the theatre chain decided to remove all shows of Pushpa 2 from North Indian theatres.
Trade Analyst Vijay Manobala on Thursday shared the report on social media. His post read, “BREAKING: Pushpa 2⃣ REMOVED✖️ from all PVR INOX chains in North India from Tomorrow." (sic)
However, Manobala shared an update that the issue was resolved between the two parties.
“BREAKING: Pushpa 2️⃣ PVR INOX agreement issue now resolved✅ Shows opening slowly one by one⏳," he wrote. (sic)
As per Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 minted Rs 972.95 crore in India in its two weeks of theatrical run. Reportedly, in its first week, Pushpa 2 minted Rs 725.8 crore. Of this, the contribution of the Hindi version is reportedly Rs 621.6 crore. According to the film’s production house, Mythiri Movie Makers, the Allu Arjun starrer has crossed the Rs 1,500 mark worldwide. Reportedly, the total worldwide collection of Pushpa 2 in its 14-day run is Rs 1508 crore gross.
Pushpa 2 is on a spree of breaking records and is setting new milestones. As per the last reports, Pushpa 2 has broken the week 2 collections of Stree 2, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi), Gadar 2, Animal, and Jawan.
