It is a known fact that since Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan, she is the grandchild of former Indian cricket team captain Tiger Pataudi and Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore . Also since her mother Amrita Singh was a famous actress during the 80s and 90s everyone is aware that she is a child of two Bollywood actors.

But did you know that Sara Ali Khan is also related to Dilip Kumar? Well, while much is known about the parents of Saif not much is discussed about Amrita Singh’s mother Rukhsana Sultana who was a big socialite during her heydays. Incidentally, she died when Sara was only nine months old and hence the young actress does not have many memories about her.

During an interview, it was the host who told the Kedarnath actress about her legacy and grandmother Rukhsana Sultana. He revealed that she was a larger-than-life figure and was born to the sister of Begum Para who was married to Nasir Khan, the brother of Dilip Kumar. This shocked Sara Ali Khan who said, “I didn’t know this. Am I Dilip Kumar’s relative? I am a relative of Dilip Kumar and I love it.”

She is also related to Sobha Singh who reconstructed the entire Delhi city and that is how she is also related to Khushwant Singh. As these revelations kept on coming the actress said, “The Dilip Kumar thing is still playing in my mind. I like that.”

Now that is huge for a Bollywood actress who herself is struggling to deliver a decent hit after being here for more than 5 years now.
