Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Akshay Kumar to have cameo in Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri's flick after Stree 2! Here's what Akki says

Bollywood's Khiladi star Akshay Kumar recently surprised moviegoers with his unprecedented cameo in Stree 2. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy raking moolah at the box office. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led flick is inching closer to Rs 300 crore mark. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for another horror-comedy flick Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri in the lead. While it was announced that OG Manjulika Vidya Balan will reprise her role in the third instalment, fans were expecting an announcement on Akshay Kumar's comeback. Well, reports have been abuzz about the same for quite a while now. However, now, Akki has broken his silence and revealed if he has a cameo in BB 3.

2007's Bhool Bhulaiyaa is remembered as one of the most iconic horror comedies of Bollywood. The movie starred Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar in pivotal roles apart from Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Rajpal Yadav and others. 15 years later, the makers came up with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu in key roles. The movie emerged as a blockbuster and scripted box office record. Following, BB2's success the makers announced the third instalment. While Kartik is reprising his role of Rooh Baba, Triptii is the new entrant in the franchise. Meanwhile, Vidya's comeback elated fans and they were hopeful of Akki's comeback. 

Recently, reports have been abuzz that Akki will have a cameo and he will begin shooting soon.

However, during a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor refuted all the claims and said, "No, absolutely not. It's fake news."

Well, this statement ends all speculations about Akki's cameo in BB3. 

Notably, earlier during an interview with Zoom TV, director Anees Bazmee had also clarified that the Thank You actor is not a part of the third instalment; though he was 'dying to work with him'.

Anees couldn't script a film where the duo could work, but he is hopeful that they will reunite for a project in future.

The much-awaited horror-comedy flick Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for release on Diwali 2024. Currently, Kartik, Triptii and Vidya are busy in shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
