Bollywood was shocked when two unidentified persons fired gunshots outside Galaxy Apartment, the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the early morning hours on Sunday. No sooner did the news about this firing become viral, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who has been constantly threatening Salman Khan declared that he was behind those firing.
Anmol who is a wanted criminal in India and is currently residing in the United States warned the superstar saying that it was just a trailer. The post from Anmol Bishnoi read, “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don't have the habit of talking much.”
Despite all such threats Salim Khan the famous veteran Bollywood writer and father of the Dabangg actor went out for his regular walk. While Salman is yet to issue any statement, the co-writer of big movies like Sholay and Deewar said, “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry."

Fans of Bhaijan are very much worried about their favourite superstar but praised the courage shown by Salim Khan. A few even appreciated his decision to go out for his routine walk calling him “Sultan ka baap.”
Why is the Bishnoi gang against Salman Khan?
In the last few years, Salman Khan has received threats through mail multiple times but this was the first time that someone has come close to his house and fired gunshots. In March 2023, the actor registered an FIR when his manager received a threat mail from Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar who is a gangster based in Canada, and Mohit Garg, an accomplice of Bishnoi.
Before that, a threat letter was recovered by Salim Khan from the spot where he goes for his walk regularly in June 2022. Salman Khan is being targeted by these gangsters for his alleged involvement in the killing of black bucks in 1998 when he was shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hai. The Bishnoi community considers blackbucks as very sacred and most of them consider the actor guilty of killing the Indian antelopes in Rajasthan.
