Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently left everyone amused with his lively performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding event, along with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Ram Charan. Even several big celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth were seen serving food to the guests at the event. It must be like a dream come true for many of the guests of the Ambanis. However, did you know, once Salman Khan turned a bartender at a wedding event and was later shooed away?

Yes, on the premiere episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix India last week, actor Ranbir Kapoor revealed that his sister Riddhima was a huge fan of Salman. Growing up, she had posters on her room's walls. Luckily, at her wedding in 2006, Salman volunteered to be the bartender.

Further, Ranbir and Riddhima's mother and actress Neetu Kapoor recalled the incident and said, "Salman Khan serving liquor to everybody! Logon ne aa ke bola ki khatam ho raha hai sab kuchh, tequila khatam ho raha hai. Rishi bole ki main toh itne le ke aaya tha, khatam kaise ho sakta hai. Dekha toh jitne aaye the guests wo phenk rahe the aur aur le rahe the because Salman Khan was serving. Then Rishi went to him and said, ‘Ja tu, nikal wahan se’. (People came to us and complained that the alcohol is over. Rishi Kapoor couldn't believe it since he brought a lot of booze. It turned out that guests were throwing away their liqour only so that Salman Khan could serve them more. Rishi then went to him and shooed him off).

Well, witnessing Salman as a bartender and serving drinks to the guests is certainly surprising. And, none of the guests could have afforded to miss the opportunity of getting closer to the Dabangg Khan and getting drinks from him.

Notably, Salman worked with Rishi in David Dhawan's 2002 romantic comedy Yeh Hai Jalwa. The Kick actor also had cameos in Ranbir's debut movie Saawariya and Rajkumar Santoshi's 2009 romantic comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Though Salman shares a good relationship with the Kapoor family, Ranbir is a staunch fan of Sanjay Dutt as he revealed during promotions of Sanju, in which he stepped into the shoes of Sanjay in the latter's biopic. For his stellar performance in Rajkumar Hirani's 2018 blockbuster, Ranbir was flooded with appreciation from all quarters. He also admitted to the same when Archana Puran Singh asked Ranbir on The Great Indian Kapil Show who his idol was growing up.
