Deepika Padukone opens up on having children; how she and Ranveer wants to bring them up

Deepika Padukone had a fabulous 2023 and is expected to have another blazing 2024 as movies like Fighter and Kalki 2898 AD gear up for release. While her career is going great, DeepVeer fans want to know when the couple will start their family. Deeps is already 35 plus and it may become difficult for her to become pregnant as the years roll on.

Speaking about having children, Deepika Padukone said that both she and Ranveer Singh love children and she is looking forward to starting their family. The Pathaan actress also revealed that the couple is hoping that they will be able to inculcate the same values in their kids that her parents Prakash and Ujala Padukone instilled in her.

In an interview with Vogue, Singapore the Piku actress said, “When I meet the people I have grown up with — my aunts, uncles, family friends — they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing...”

She added, “In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in November 2023 and the latter has always openly revealed his love for children and that he wants a daughter just like his wife. While it is up to the two stars to plan their family, at present both of them are very busy with their respective careers.

Apart from Fighter and Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika also has good movies like The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Rajamouli’s SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu, and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again with Ajay Devgn.
