Controversial Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan Fight: The REAL reason that never came out!

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are the biggest superstars of Bollywood today. They are great friends and buddies and have always supported each other in the moment of crisis.

However, there was a period in between when the two were not on talking terms. And it all happened when the two got into a fight at one of the parties hosted by the Dabangg actor at his Panvel farmhouse.

Reportedly, Salman insulted SRK at the party and it led to a huge brawl between the two. Everyone knows about it in bits and pieces but very few people know what exactly happened during that party.

Salman Khan insisted Shah Rukh Khan to come to the party

It was the time when Salman Khan had already broken up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and even his relationship with Katrina Kaif was going down.

Kats by then had established herself as the leading actress in Bollywood and had started distancing himself from Salman. But the Bharat actor wanted to woo her back and hence to please her had thrown a birthday party for her at the farmhouse.

It was a last-minute decision made when the family and Salman himself had reached the farmhouse. From there he started calling all the guests and also made a call to SRK. The Badshah had just returned from a hectic tour abroad and was suffering from knee pain. Even then he had started working with Aditya Chopra on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

That is why initially SRK said that he could not promise whether he would be able to make it to the party or not. But Salman was insistent and made him 3 to 4 calls. Finally, the Pathaan actor relented and reached the farmhouse for the party along with Gauri Khan. While SRK agreed to come to the party on Gauri’s insistence, reportedly, Salman Khan had an entirely different agenda behind calling Shah Rukh Khan to the party.

And it had nothing to do with their rivalry in Bollywood.

A fight that tore apart the friendship of two Bollywood superstars

Reportedly Salman could not bear it that all his girlfriends including Aishwarya and Katrina Kaif wanted to work with SRK. That is why the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor created a ruckus on the sets of Chalte Chalte in which Ash was the lead female star with SRK. He even used to visit sets of Devdas when Sanjay Leela Bhansali refused to cast him and instead paired Ash and SRK together.

Along with Srk, and Gauri, Karan Johar and Aamir Khan were also invited to the party. After hugging birthday girl Katrina warmly, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri started chatting with the guests in a corner. Salman Khan reportedly was drinking one glass after the other and was already high when he interrupted a discussion between Aamir and SRK.

It was then Salman started boasting about himself and how his television show Dus Ka Dum was doing better than SRK’s Kya Aap Pachvi Pass Se Tej Hai and started taunting him a lot. Initially, Shah Rukh Khan ignored these remarks but when he started cussing and talking filthy about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh could not take it and asked Salman to leave Ash out of it.

He asked Salman to talk respectfully about the Dhoom 2 actress as she is now the wife of someone else as well as a woman. However, that further instigated Salman and made SRK so angry that he threatened his Karan Arjun co-star that if Salman uttered a single filthy word, he would beat him at his house in front of his guests.

It was a common friend who came in between as Gauri left with Karan Johar and eventually Shah Rukh Khan also left the party followed by Aamir and his wife Kiran.
