Action sequences and stunts are vital to add to the excitement of the audience and keep them glued to the screens. Be it Hollywood or Bollywood or any other cine industry, nowadays, it seems, the makers are in a race to add the most jaw-dropping action sequences and stunts in their movies to engross the movie lovers.
There are 'N' numbers of Hollywood flicks that have set examples of high-class action sequences, be it super-heroic movies or gangster movies. The same rule is applicable to most of the other film industries overseas. While some actors prefer to do their action sequences on their own, many prefer a body double for the 'spine chilling' stunts.
However, when it comes to Bollywood, there are several actors who are known for performing the stunts by themselves. The list includes Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and Vidyut Jamwal.
However, following the reign of Amitabh Bachchan, Aki and Ajay had established a distinguished identity in the industry with their real stunts.
If you are a fan of Ajay, you must be aware that he made his debut in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante, which went on to become a blockbuster. The movie not only just brought a new action star to the industry, but its success made way for the actor to create a new identity.
The theatres echoed with claps with the dashing entry of Ajay, in which he is seen stretching his legs on two moving bikes. Remembering such a stunt back in those days certainly would shock everyone.
However, Indian movie lovers have taken it to another level by comparing a stunt performed by Chris Hemsworth in his upcoming 'Thor: Love And Thunder'. The movie is all set to release in India on July 8.
A video scene from the promo video of 'Thor: Love And Thunder' is circulating on social media in which Chris is seen enacting Ajay, first-ever onscreen stunt.
Sharing the same on social media, one user said, "Hollywood's Ajay Devgn."
Another said, "Thor don't copy our legend."
Meanwhile, another user wrote, "Wow! Now Hollywood is copying Bollywood."
The list of comments also included, "Ajay is no less than Thor."
Though there is no connection with the claims and Chris was just dragged into a meme fest, but, the iconic stunt scene of the newbie Ajay has certainly freshened up in the minds of movie lovers.
