Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava
Movies make a massive impact on the mindset of the public. While many filmmakers might deny this fact youngsters copying hairstyles and dressing from the actors and actresses or even using famous dialogues from the movies in general conversation to put their point across is very common. Undeniably it is the impact of a highly successful film.
And Chhaava has once again proved it.
Chhaava movie showed that Moghuls looted Marathas and kept the gold and treasure that they took from them in Madhya Pradesh’s Asirgarh Fort in Burhanpur. Now that is a history that took place more than 400 years ago. But the impact of Chhaava and that particular scene has been so strong that many people in the surroundings flocked to this specific spot in Burhanpur with the latest digging tools, and metal detectors to dig up the spot.
Interestingly, they also came with big bags with the hope that they would surely find the hidden treasure and would be allowed to take it home. Of course, 99% of people who watched Chhaava did not go to Burhanpur because they do understand the difference between reality and cinema.
However, even these 1% of people could think of going to the place mentioned in the movie is shocking and once again confirms that many people in India cannot differentiate between reality and cinema.
In Chhava movie Theyshowed that Mughals looted Gold and treasure from Marathas and kept it in the Asirgarh Fort, Burhanpur, MP. After watching the movie, locals flocked to the spot with digging tools, metal detectors and bags to dig up the treasure and take it home.😭

Before its release, Chhaava was expected to turn out to be a big flop because there was not much hype around this Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna movie. Many leading trade analysts accused producer Dinesh Vijan of corporate booking. But within a week all the narratives changed with the public thriving in huge numbers to the theaters to watch Chhaava.
It is now one of the biggest hits of recent times and the second biggest movie from Maddock Films after Stree 2 which crossed 500 crore plus collection.
