Neha Kakar, who is currently judging the Indian Idol Season 12, was a contestant herself in the season 2 of the popular singing reality show. However, during one of her audition rounds on the show, Neha failed to impress one of the judges who considered it as her ‘worst’ performance.
The judged was none other than ace music composer Anu Malik. In a throwback video which has gone viral on the social media, it can be seen an angry Anu Malik slapping himself to show his displeasure at Neha Kakkar’s performance.
In the video, Neha is seen singing the song Aisa Lagta Hai from the movie ‘Refugee’ with a co-contestants during the piano round audition of Indian Idol. However, Neha fails to impress Anu Malik. He is seen saying that he feels like slapping himself after her performance. He also goes on to slap himself to show his displeasure.

Despite the sharp comments, Neha Kakkar managed to clear the audition to grab a place in the Top 12 contestant in the show but she was eliminated in the early stage of the show.
However, there was no looking back for the ‘O Saki Saki’ singer, who step by step established herself as one of the leading singers of the country. Today, Neha is one of the highest paid singers in India with a lot of chartbusters like ‘Second Hand Jawani’, ‘Kaala Chasma’ and ‘Dilbar’ being in her kitty.
She is also popular on social media with more than 57Million followers on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Neha is gearing up for the release of her latest single ‘Khad Tainu Main Dasa’ with husband Rohanpreet Singh. Recently, Neha shared a few stills from the upcoming song on her Instagram.
In the pics, the newly wed duo can be seen in flamboyant costume on a football match ground.
