Bollywood has a long list of friendships that have lasted for decades together. Be it the Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan bonding or Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn equation, many Bollywood celebs have been very close and have been the support system for each other.

However, there have been a few friendships that turned sour over the years. A few even patched up later on and now are once again on good terms. On Friendship Day, know more about such Bollywood friends who once got hurt due to betrayals and misunderstandings.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Rani Mukerji

It was a big surprise for many when they saw Ash and Rani in one frame at Karan Johar’s birthday bash last year. More than a decade ago Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerji had a bad fallout after Shah Rukh Khan replaced the former with Rani because of Salman Khan and Ash mess. Not only Rani, but the Guru actor was equally upset with SRK and did not talk to him as well for many years. However, now all three of them have resolved their dispute

Kajol – Karan Johar

Karan and Kajol have been close buddies much before the two ventured into Bollywood. For decades together the two have been considered very close pals and Karan has worked with her multiple times saying that she and SRK will always be his favourite pair. But their relationship turned sour when Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clashed at the box office and there was a strong rumour that the Dharma Boss used his PR tactics to write against Shivaay. However, later on, both Kajol and Karan made up.

Govinda - David Dhawan

The pair of Govinda and David Dhawan gave many big hits. But when Govinda hit a bad patch, David had already moved on and was working with Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. This had hurt Govinda very badly and although Hero No. 1 is happy that Varun is doing well as an actor, he is no more interested in working with Dhawan again.

Kareena Kapoor Khan – Priyanka Chopra Jonas

From taunting her accent and acting to finally acknowledging that PeeCee is a very good actress, Kareena always had some issues with the Miss World winner and it can be mostly because they dated Shahid Kapoor albeit at different times. However, it was obvious now that they are on good terms when they graced the couch of Koffee with Karan a few seasons ago.

Abhishek Bachchan – Aditya Chopra

Abhishek Bachchan and Aditya Chopra are childhood friends. So when the YRF decided to come up with the first-of-its-kind franchise Dhoom, Junior Bachchan was roped in. All three movies from the franchise have been a big hit. However, Dhoom 3 had Aamir Khan in a double role and he stole all the limelight from Abhishek.

At that time Aditya Chopra had already was the head of YRF and was responsible for how the third installment was shaped. This did not go down well with the Guru actor who since then has stopped working with YRF.
