Bigg Boss 15 makers are planning to introduce something new in its upcoming season to ensure that the show attracts good TRP. The last season did not do well as expected despite having star celebrities as contestants. According to reports, the show will run for around six months. However, the TV telecast will be restricted to 4 to 5 months and whether to extend or cut down the duration of the telecast will depend on the TRP the show receives.
As is known, this year’s Bigg Boss will include both commoners and celebrities with a special focus on couples or ex-couples with controversial breakups. However, instead of the celebs, it would be the commoners who will first enter the house and will be retained on the votes of the audience. Once the final commoners are selected the celebrities will make an entry inside the Bigg Boss 15 house.
The makers of the reality show are also planning to introduce a new format to ensure that the show is not taken off air due to bad TRP. As per the reports, with every eviction, a new contestant will make an entry inside the house as a wild card entrant. The makers believe that it will keep the interest of the audience in the show intact.
Last year, Bigg Boss made many changes in its format and brought its old popular participants as seniors who sort of monitored the housemates. The show makers also brought in old participants as challengers and pitted them against the fresh contestants. Celebs like Rahul Mahajan, Manu Punjabi, Vikas Gupta, Arshi Khan, Rakhi Sawant, and Kashmera Shah who participated in the earlier seasons of the Bigg Boss entered Bigg Boss 14 house as challengers.
Incidentally, Rakhi Sawant even gave a tough fight to the fresh contestants. This year as well names of several celebs like Rhea Chakraborty, Nia Sharma, Disha Vakani, Amit Kumar, Krushna Abhishek have surfaced but none of these celebrities have confirmed their participation in Bigg Boss 15.
