Tollywood actor Prabhas, who once grabbed the attention of everyone across the world with his magnum opuses of the Baahubali franchise, is one of the busiest actors who has multiple films in a row including Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush and Project 'K'. However, the big banners helmed by ace director SS Rajamouli brought him the much-needed recognition pan-India. Since then, Darling Prabhas rose to fame and became one of the most celebrated actors as well as the heartthrob of all.
After Baahubali: The Beginning in 2015 and Baahubali: The Conclusion in 2017, the Young Rebel star was seen in 2019 opposite Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor in the action thriller flick Saaho. Movie lovers and fans of Baahubali had high expectations from Saaho, however, the movie was unable to satisfy a section of moviegoers.
Prabhas in Saaho didn't go unnoticed as he looked bulky and older in comparison to his looks in Baahubali. Several Baahubali fans urged the actor to shed weight and transform to his older look. However, the stir soon went into the grave after the movie.

Prabhas is frequently hitting the headlines for his upcoming movies. All his upcoming movies are rated among the highly anticipated movies. However recently, the actor was immensely trolled by many on social media after some of his pictures went viral. Prabhas got snapped in Mumbai without makeup and the pictures started circulating on different platforms. He got brutally trolled and the pic garnered shocking reactions.
Netizens could clearly notice from the purported picture of Prabhas that the actor had gained a considerable amount of weight. Many even stepped forward saying that the actor was unrecognizable and looked aged.
Meanwhile, rumours are abuzz that makers of Adipurush have taken the trolls on a serious note and director Om Raut has convinced Prabhas to shed some weight to retain a perfect body posture and undergo body detoxification. To achieve a desirable and well-toned body that would be perfect for the portrayal of Lord Ram character, Prabhas will go to Britain and undergo treatment under world-class dieticians. However, the truth behind the viral pic of Prabhas as well as the rumours of the actor shedding pounds still remains a mystery.
On the work front, the Rebel actor will be seen in a romantic genre after a long gap in Radhe Shyam which also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead. Meanwhile, Salaar helmed by Prashanth Neel is a high-octane action-packed movie in which Prabhas will share screen space with Shruti Haasan. Apart from these two movies, Prabhas will be portraying the character of Lord Rama in Adipurush which is a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, helmed by Om Raut. Along with Prabhas, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita while Sunny Singh has been roped in for the character of Laxman and Saif Ali Khan will portray the character of Demon King Ravana.
Moreover, Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin's tentatively titled movie 'Project K' which also stars Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
As per the latest reports, Prabhas on September 11 joined the sets of Salaar in Hyderabad and the shooting has been scheduled for 5 days. As per the buzz, Prabhas will be shooting a major scene of the movie.
