Avneet Kaur finally reacts to Virat Kohli’s likes on her Instagram

Actor Avneet Kaur is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Love In Vietnam’, and during the trailer launch event, she addressed the recent online chatter linking her to cricket star Virat Kohli. 

When asked about Virat Kohli’s like, the attention and praise she has been receiving on social media, Avneet smiled and said, “May the love keep coming.”

The controversy began on April 30, when Avneet posted a series of pictures on Instagram, where she wore a green crop top paired with a printed wrap skirt. What caught fans’ attention was that Virat Kohli briefly liked the post and then unliked it. 

The quick activity did not go unnoticed, with Kohli’s fan pages sharing screenshots and social media users reacting with humorous comments like, “Kohli saab, what is this behaviour?” and, “Akaay beta, papa ko phone do.”

As the screenshots went viral, Kohli stepped in to clarify the situation through an Instagram Story. He explained, “While clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. Please avoid unnecessary assumptions. Thank you for your understanding.”

Adding to the buzz, both Avneet and Kohli were seen at Wimbledon 2025, attending the match between tennis legend Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur. Kohli shared a snapshot of Djokovic serving, captioning it, “What a match. It was business as usual for the gladiator.”

Avneet also posted multiple Instagram Stories from the event, further fueling discussions among fans online. With the release of Love In Vietnam just around the corner, the young star seems to be taking all the attention in stride, focusing on her big Bollywood moment.
