‘Deva’ star Shahid Kapoor’s massive line-up for this New Year is worth dying for any actor. Bollywood’s original chocolate boy is slowly coming back to take back his very well-deserved thorn. While ‘Deva’ teaser is receiving accolades from all quarters, he has already started shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next gangster film, bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala.

In the midst of all this, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor has reportedly grabbed ‘Jawan’ director Atlee’s mass action film. If reports are to be believed, the handsome hunk is currently in talks with the mega director for his next production.

After Baby John, Atlee has reportedly been in talks with Shahid Kapoor for a masaledaar entertainer, which will be directed by one of his associates. The actor has been in talks for the last five months and is on the verge of signing the dotted line, a Bollywood Hungama source told.

If reports are to be believed, the film will be an original action entertainer and not a remake like Baby John, which failed miserably at the box office.

“Atlee has himself developed this script with his associate and feels that Shahid Kapoor is apt for the part. The team is in advanced stages of discussion and the things should fall in place shortly,” the report further added. It will be a one-of-its-kind action entertainer and will present Shahid in a larger-than-life heroic avatar.

On the work front, Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Deva’ which is expected to break all the box office records. He also has Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Arjun Ustara’, which also features Triptii Dimri, Randeep Hooda and Nana Patekar in pivotal roles.
