Akshay Kumar's Bhoot Bangla has special connection with Bhool Bhulaiyaa

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are collaborating after a long gap. The two have started working on their upcoming movie, Bhoot Bangla, which is expected to be a horror comedy. Akshay Kumar recently shared a few photographs from the set, with Paresh Rawal indicating the same. What is interesting, though, is the location where this first schedule of Bhoot Bangla is taking place.

The shooting is going on in Jaipur’s Chomu Palace, where earlier the two had shot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa. This is the surprising and special connection between Bhoot Bangla and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Due to this connection, there have been rumours that the upcoming film, which also stars Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi in important roles, is a prequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

A social media post says, “Call it destiny, but Bhooth Bangla has got Akshay and Priyan on the same spot as the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The team is shooting for a marathon schedule at Chomu Palace in Jaipur. The entire horror unfolds in this palace, and the team is thrilled to be shooting at the same spot after 18 years.”

More than 60% of Bhoot Bangla will be shot in this palace which will take them a little over a month to complete. A good part of the movie will also be shot in London.

Similar to Bhool Bhulaiyaa , this film will also be a mix of horror and humour but this time it will also be laced with a few supernatural activities and elements which will be a part of this Bangla or palace.

Akshay Kumar is all set to play an interesting character amid all this madness happening in the Bangla.

There is a strong buzz that the storyline of Bhoot Bangla will have a mythological backdrop inspired by Indian stories.
