Anupamaa: Neena Gupta or Kirron Kher to play a new pivotal character?

The twists and turns in Anupamaa have left the audience shell-shocked. Just a year ago the love and romance between Anuj Kapadia and Anu was on the top and contributed towards the show getting number one TRP ratings.

Now, after losing custody of Choti Anu, the married life of Anu and Anuj has taken an unexpected turn with both leaving the Kapadia house.

Anuj has blamed Anupamaa for losing Choti Anu as he believes that Anu gave more attention to the Shah family which is why they lost Choti Anu. Samar starts searching for Anupamaa but cannot find her anywhere.

After a lot of searching, the Shah family is able to find Anupamaa's whereabouts. Vanraj is internally happy about this separation of Anuj and Anu and invites Anupamaa to live in the Shah house. But Anupamaa refuses to return either to Shah or Kapadia's house.

She is extremely distressed by the behaviour of Anuj Kapadia and decides to find an entirely different path for herself. There have been reports earlier that Anu will go to Mount Abu and seek spiritual solace.

Now, according to a new buzz, the production house has approached well-known character actresses Neena Gupta and Kirron Kher to play a pivotal character in the serial.

Either of these actresses will be finalized soon for the role. This particular character will serve as the mentor and guide for Anu who has lost all her trust, hope, and happiness and is indeed in need of proper direction and guidance.

Now that Anuj's character will take a backseat, the serial is expected to show a new avatar of Anupamaa which will be completely different from her earlier Shah and Kapadia version.
