Gaurav Khanna will soon feature in the Star Plus hit serial Anupamaa as Anuj Kapadia. Gaurav is playing the role of Anu’s college friend and they will meet at the college reunion. Naturally, fans of the serial are very excited as they were expecting a new twist and a love angle in the melodrama that currently revolves around Vanraj, Kavya, and Anu.
Anuj is expected to be the support system that currently Anupamaa is very much in need of especially after her ex-husband and his current wife left her alone to fight the financial crisis.
Recently, Gaurav Khanna, who is a well-known face on television, opened up on his experience of working with Rupali Ganguly and returning back to television for the first time after the lockdown.
Gaurav said that it is good to be back but is a little bit different as everywhere people are wearing masks and particular protocols need to be followed. The actor further added that the toughest part is reapplying the makeup for each shot and in between staying alert and following all the safety measures.

It will be the first time Gaurav will be working with Rupali Ganguly. Speaking about the same, the Jeevan Saathi actor revealed that his first shot for Anupamaa was with the Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress.
According to Gaurav, he has always loved her performances on the screen and considers her as a very talented actor and a very humble person.
The telly star also revealed that Rupali made him feel comfortable during the mock shoot schedule and assured him that he would bag the role. He believes that co-operation from Rupali played a major role in helping him bag this role of Anuj Kapadia.
As per the promo, Gaurav will be playing the role of a rich businessman who will buy the property of Vanraj and Anu at a very big price.
